Visiting a new church can be pretty awkward. Maybe you’re coming from another church that did things differently or you’ve never been part of a church. Now you’re surrounded by a bunch of people singing songs that you don’t know and praying prayers you’ve never heard. Then, to top it all off, they pass around a basket and ask for money. We get it! We know that visiting a church can be uncomfortable, and we want to make you feel at home. So, here are a few things to know:

• You are welcome here and we're so glad you came. Every one of us has a past and it doesn’t matter where you come from, what you’ve done, or who you’re involved with, you're always welcome.
• Do not feel obligated to give. For those who attend our church regularly, it is an honor to give, but we do not expect it of our guests.
• Relax and enjoy yourself. Hopefully the routines of our Sunday service will be pretty easy to understand, but don’t worry, there’s nothing here to “mess up.”
• Say "hello" to someone. Most likely a bunch of people have already said “hello” to you, but in case they haven’t, step out and introduce yourself. We’d love to get to know you.
• Finally, if you have any questions, please ask!

Our hope is that after getting to know us better, you would become a part of our church family.  We’d love to have you on the journey.

HELLO LACC!

Happy Friday!

We are looking forward to meeting together this Sunday to worship our amazing

God. We will be continuing our new series in Acts this week. We are really

looking forward to all that God will teach us about the church through this

series. If you would like to read the passage, take a look at Acts 2:37-47. Please

join us for worship, giving, scripture reading, teaching, prayer and fellowship.

Here are some announcements:

Craft Fair- Join us tomorrow at the annual Craft Fair from 10-3. Come start your

Christmas shopping (only 8 Saturdays until Christmas) or just browse and enjoy

lunch prepared by Rob & Linda Hart.

Harvest Festival-The candy collection bins are out, and you can check out the

bulletin insert to learn how you can help! (we can always use items for the cake

walk) Carol Ann has done a great job planning, but we couldn’t do it without

you! Thanks for all your help.

Operation Christmas Child-‘Tis the season! OCC shoeboxes are available in the

lobby. We LOVE packing these boxes every year; we can’t wait to see what you

bring back! Please have your packed boxes back by November 16.

Holy Hip Hop-Devin & April Kraushaar will be hosting Holy Hip Hop here at

LACC on Nov 6. Doors will open at 6:30, and the music starts at 7. It’s family-

friendly, and there is no cost to attend.

Men’s Breakfast-Join us for Men’s Breakfast on November 7 at 9 am. It’s a great

time together in the word with good food and fellowship. Hope you can make it!

Christmas Banquet-Lauren Talley will be our entertainment at this year’s

Christmas Banquet. Tickets are available in the back after church, and if you

would like to host a table, we have one spot left. Let Holli know at
